1. Preserve your whole wedding bouquet in a frame

Let's start with an option that doesn't involve resin at all. We can professionally dry your wedding bouquet and arrange the flowers within a deep-set shadow box frame, allowing you to keep much more of the original bouquet together.

Professional flower drying is quite different from hanging your bouquet upside down in the bedroom and hoping for the best. We use specialist equipment and materials to dry flowers on a much larger scale, helping us preserve their structure ready to be displayed or used within other pieces.

We don't currently offer traditional pressed flower preservation, because that isn't our area of expertise and we would rather be honest about that. Instead, if you would like to preserve more of the shape and structure of your bouquet, a professionally dried framed arrangement can work really well. We can also preserve smaller arrangements, such as buttonholes, and display those within smaller frames.

2. Preserve your wedding flowers in resin

This is where the greatest number of possibilities really come in! Resin wedding flower preservation allows us to professionally dry your flowers before preserving them within clear resin, giving you a huge amount of flexibility in terms of the finished item.

You certainly aren't limited to one large resin block. We have access to more than 1,000 different resin preservation options, including hearts in different shapes and sizes, orbs, paperweights, photo frames, ring holders, coasters, bookmarks, keyrings, jewellery, hair clips, Pandora-style beads, decorative letters, large statement pieces and tables.

In reality, if you can imagine something, there is a reasonable chance that we can make it. If you have seen an idea that you love but can't find it amongst our existing options, send it over to us. If there is an appropriate mould available somewhere and we can get our hands on it, we will see what we can do.

3. Turn your wedding bouquet into jewellery and smaller keepsakes

Wedding flower preservation doesn't have to mean creating one large piece. Some of our smallest resin items start at around £12, meaning that you can preserve tiny amounts of your bouquet within something that you can actually use, wear or carry with you.

This might include keyrings, jewellery, beads, bookmarks, hair clips and other smaller keepsakes. One of the advantages of these items is how far a single wedding bouquet can go. A standard bridal bouquet can often create one or two larger preservation pieces alongside a number of smaller items, depending on the flowers, designs and products that you choose.

You really don't need many petals to create a keyring, piece of jewellery or bead, which makes these particularly useful if you want several members of the family or wedding party to have a small part of your wedding flowers.

4. Create thank you gifts from your wedding flowers

This is one of our favourite uses for wedding bouquet preservation. Instead of buying separate thank you presents after the wedding, you can use some of the actual flowers from the day to create something much more personal.

Small resin flower preservation pieces can make lovely gifts for bridesmaids, parents, grandparents, flower girls, page boys and other members of the wedding party. Because one bouquet can produce a large number of smaller items, everybody can have something slightly different while still receiving a keepsake made from the flowers that were actually there on your wedding day.

For younger members of the wedding party, we can have a little more fun too. Two particularly popular options are our glow-in-the-dark resin dinosaur and unicorn, which make brilliant keepsakes for flower girls and page boys and are perhaps a little more exciting to them than a traditional paperweight!

5. Personalise your preserved wedding flowers

Your wedding bouquet is personal, so there is no reason that your flower preservation shouldn't be. Everything we create can be completely bespoke, and you can choose which flowers appear in which pieces, how they are arranged and what additional details you would like included.

Depending on the item, we can incorporate names and initials, wedding dates, letters and ampersands, different fonts and calligraphy, glitter, decorative elements, colour and even glow-in-the-dark features.

However, the flowers don't have to be the only thing from the wedding that you preserve. We can also incorporate small memories from the day, such as a place name, photograph, piece of jewellery, table decoration, part of an order of service or another keepsake that means something to you.

This means that the finished piece can become more than simply preserved flowers. It can become a collection of different memories from the wedding itself.

6. Turn your bouquet into Christmas, birthday or anniversary gifts

You don't have to decide that every preservation piece is for you. Because a single bouquet can create so many smaller items, you can preserve some of the flowers for yourself and use others to create personalised Christmas, birthday or anniversary gifts.

How long do preserved wedding flowers last?

This is one of the reasons that resin preservation is so popular. Properly dried flowers can last for a long time, but encasing them in resin gives them additional physical protection and turns them into something that can be displayed and enjoyed for many years.

That doesn't mean that resin makes flowers completely indestructible. Where you display your preserved flowers still matters. For example, a resin piece sitting in strong direct sunlight on a windowsill every day for ten years is likely to change more quickly than one displayed somewhere away from constant direct sunlight and heat.

Some lighter flowers, particularly whites, can naturally show changes more noticeably over time. So, enjoy and display your preserved wedding flowers, but if you want to keep them looking their best for as long as possible, it makes sense to avoid somewhere that receives intense direct sunlight all day, every day.

How much of my wedding bouquet can be preserved?

You might be surprised by how far it goes. With a standard bridal bouquet, we can often produce one or two substantial resin pieces alongside numerous smaller keepsakes.

Items such as jewellery, bookmarks, beads and keyrings use relatively small amounts of flower material, so one bouquet can create keepsakes for quite a few people. It also doesn't have to be limited to the bridal bouquet. We can work with bridesmaid bouquets, buttonholes, table flowers, floral decorations, individual meaningful flowers and other arrangements from throughout the wedding day.

Essentially, if there are flowers from the day that matter to you, it is worth talking to us before throwing them away.

What's the best way to preserve a wedding bouquet?

There isn't really one correct answer. If you want to see your bouquet displayed together, a professionally dried shadow box frame could be perfect.
